AcuRite 5-in-1 Weather Station - Dark Theme (01517M)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this weather station about a month ago. The setup and installation was fairly simple. It's nice to be able to look at the weather station hub and see what the temps are outside without having to go outside. So far, it seems to be pretty accurate. The only cons to this unit is that the wind speed seems a little bit off. We had a big wind storm and it was showing high of 15 mph winds but the local college showed gusts upwards of 35 mph. Other than that it's a great unit.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This acurite weather station was extremely easy to install. It's a nice addition to have to see the current weather 25/7 at your location. It usually is pretty accurate. Would definitely purchase again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great addition to my house! The unit tracks Inside/outside temp and humidity, windspeed, cumulative rainfall, and the forecast. The rain gage does require a little bit of calibrating before you get an accurate reading. Besides the calibration the setup was a breeze. You can track your station remotely using the app. As someone who works outside for a living it's been great having my own weather station!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am so glad I got this weather station. We have unpredictable weather here, so having this one has helped a lot. The first thing I really noticed about it is that it takes a little bit of time to start using. In order to detect rainfall, you have to calibrate the sensor to detect rain. This can take a while because you want to make sure you get it just right to get the most accurate reading. You don't have to calibrate the rain though in order to use this product though. You will need to install the sensor and that can take a little bit of time depending on where you install it. You just want to make sure it's in a good spot so that it can detect the weather but also a spot that won't destroy it. After you install the sensor and calibrate the rain, you just enter all of the info into the display. Once you enter this info, the sensor outside will automatically calibrate to give you accurate readings of the weather! This product can detect rainfall, wind speed, wind direction, humidity and outdoor temperature. I love that it tells you the outdoor temp and also the temp inside. This has come in handy for me, so I know what to wear for the day and if I will need an umbrella or anything like that. There is also a real time ticker at the bottom of the screen that tells you the most current temps and then it will also tell you what the highest and lowest temps of the week were. This is another thing that is nice to know! The quality of this sensor and the display are amazing. They are both heavy duty and built really well. They are both made well and I can tell that they will last me a long time. The display is amazing because it tells you so much information about the weather, both current and what will happen. It is just all around amazing and very informative! I highly recommend this product to everyone. If you want to know what the current temperatures are, what the rainfall will be, what the humidity is like and so much more.. then this is the product for you! It really is amazing and is so detailed. I have enjoyed it so far and I know you will too! Pros: Quality, Durability, Ease of Use, Detailed Cons: None yet
