People and pets need to be removed from home before use and home needs to be aired out before brought back in. I would not recommend using this product unless you have a full infestation of fleas, I would try using preventive methods first.

I have cats and a dog who enjoy their time outside but bring back unwanted guests with them - fleas. Even though all of my pets are on preventative flea and tick medication, it isn't always effective. So when I was offered the opportunity to sample Adams Plus Flea & Tick Carpet Spray, I signed up immediately. I've found this product to be effective at helping to reduce the number of fleas in my house. Even though it didn't eradicate all of the fleas, it has my family's and pet's living conditions more comfortable. To be fair, my animals go outside on a daily basis numerous times, so it makes it more than easy for fleas to attach themselves. This product claims to kill fleas, flea eggs, flea larvae, and ticks and I've been mostly satisfied with the results I've achieved thus far. You can also use this spray on roaches, ants, spiders, crickets, water bugs, silverfish, sowbugs, and carpet beetles. I can vouch that it does indeed kill ants, spiders, and silverfish since I find those occasionally in my house as well. It couldn't be more easier to use, just shake the can well and spray. The tab only requires light pressure to induce spraying. For applying at a maximum rate, spray for 12 seconds to cover a 5 ft x 10 ft area. If you feel more comfortable applying spray at a lower rate yet covering more area, just spray for 12 seconds to cover a 10 ft x 10 ft area. This product protects for 7 months when applied at maximum rate. You can also safely apply Adams Plus Flea & Tick Carpet Spray to drapes, rugs, upholstered furniture, pet bedding, and indoor kennels as well. I also like that this product is made in the USA. This product comes in a 16 oz can which makes for multiple uses if necessary. I would recommend this product for anyone looking for ways to rid their house of fleas or a variety of insects.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Adams Flea & Tick Home & Carpet Spray goes on thick and saturates the carpet easily. I liked the sprayer but especially liked that it got rid of those pesky fleas without a bad odor. It didn't seem to bother the dog either.
