i highly recommend advantage 2 over any other brand. my siamese is sensitive and therefore this is the only topical flea prevention i use. i've tried others and she showed signs of distress. i had to wash them off. advantage 2 works really well and costs a fraction of other medications.

My cat hates flea treatment day which is once a month, but it works great! I never see a single flea on him or in the house. He's an inside cat, but I do let him out with me sometimes in our fenced backyard so there is some outside time. I've been using it for years too and the fleas still have not built up a tolerance to it. Highly recommend!

I have used the other name brand for years. It is now starting to fail. It didn't even last for three weeks. So I decided to try Advantage II. I use this on all three of my cats as we recently somehow got a flea infestation. It worked wonderful. My cats have all stop scratching, and I can't find a single flea on them. I have found many dead fleas around their water dishes, but no life please. It works great and I definitely recommend this product.

This product did not work for our cats. One week after applying to our cats they all still had as many fleas as they had when we put it on them. We went for a special subscription treatment from our vet and the fleas started to fall off on the first day.

Didn't work. Saw two fleas side-by-side on my cat's tail this morning. Saw a few crawl across her face last night too. This stuff does nothing. It's frustrating because I went and researched the heck out of topical flea treatments before buying this. I'm convinced topicals just aren't effective. Flea collars don't work either. It's gotta be oral medication, which means a vet visit and a hefty vet bill. It's like the system is set up for middle class people to struggle just to provide decent care for their pets. I can buy a gun as easily as walking into a store, but I need to see a vet before I can buy flea, tick, worm treatments that are effective. It's weird since they say it's to protect innocent animal lives. I can't help but question, “So you trust me with a gun but not with flea and tick preventative?”
