Agri-Fab Tow Spreader Tow Behind Spreader Poly Hopper Steel Frame

The unit is pretty well built but the accuracy of distribution is a gamble at best. The setting devise is not well designed and is not reliable. It is difficult to know the rate of distribution and the unit is not adjustable for balance, front to back. (this does not facilitate emptying)

The spreader shipped quickly. The assembly instructions were fairly straightforward and all the parts were there and labeled adequately. I ordered a tow bracket for my zero turn mower and the spreader worked perfectly the first time out. I am pleased with the product!

Directions for assembly are horrible to say the least!! My neighbor was working with me and he said the same thing. The spreader unit it's self is very nice.

Good quality and glad I bought it. Drawings to assemble could be much much better. Customer service people with whom I spoke were excellent and helped improve the rating. Does a good job spreading fertilizer but the only complaint is there is no easy way to shut off the flow of fertilizer from the bin to the spreader without getting off my zero turn. I just have to go quickly which is not a problem for me but for less mobile people, it could be. The quality overall is quite good and I hope I have at least 5-10 years out of it. I do recommend it and after reading reviews of other pull behind spreaders, this is very good and affordable.

I would have given a 5 Star review but the first time using it, the agitator cotter key in the middle came out and disappeared somewhere on my 5.5 acre lot...I never did find it but i had another cotter key, thicker that I hammered into place and used.
