Air Hogs Vectron Wave 2.0 - Black, Grey and Orange

This toy was the hit of Christmas for my grandson. It works very well & we have had no problems. It is fun inside & out but my husband said to only use it outside when it is fully charged ( I don't know why). It hits the ceiling & also the floor & there has been no damage so far. The only downside is, of course, having to use batteries. Am thinking of getting another to use when friends come over.

This toy is amazing, well built and balances very well with your hand or body gestures. Keeps the kid busy playing with this. 8-12 min of playtime per charge .... Not bad. the sound is annoying ... Not low like the chopper. My kid is enjoying this toy.

I received this item from Air Hogs to test out for free. I was really excited at first to try it out, but after opening the package and trying it out I was not impressed. First of all, it takes 6 AA batteries. You already pay over $20.00 for this flying foam toy but then you have to go out and purchase batteries. Don't like that. After we got it charged we tried it out. We have a very small house. This thing kept hitting every wall so it wouldn't stay in the air for more than a minute. At one point it got tangled in my hair. (This toy may be a bit dangerous in my opinion) It only stayed charged for maybe five minutes before having to recharge. I wouldn't recommend taking it outside either as it will get away very easily. My son played with this for an hour or so before he told me he didn't really like it and I can understand why. Don't recommend.

Received this as an arc from Air Hogs. My son was really excited to play with this toy. The first thing that I noticed was that it seemed kind of flimsy - it is styro-foam. The Stop button on the remote does not work as I thought - it did not shut off the toy right away. Also, fingers tend to get 'chopped' when trying to catch the toy. My son got bored after a few minutes and is has been sitting on my kitchen counter since. Overall, it is a neat concept but I'm not sure it is something that I would buy.

The Air Vectron Wave is a lot of fun, but the fun doesn't last long enough. After receiving this product for free as a test product from SpinMasters through BzzAgent, my son was instantly excited. We put the 6 AA batteries in the remote and charged the toy overnight. This toy was easy for my eight-year-old son to figure out. It was light weight and responded well to his hand. He loved flying it and did very well. We have no power lines in the area he was playing, so I felt good knowing that he was outside playing. The unfortunate part was that the toy only lasted for about 15 minutes before it had to be charged again. While it charged, my son became preoccupied with other toys and forgot all about the Air Vectron Wave. I think this is a cool toy, but the charging issues make it too much of a hassle for my son. He prefers toys he can play with for long periods of time. We have the toy sitting by our patio doors, and I hope my son will want to play with it again. It promotes being outside and running around.
