We had no problem assembling the trampoline. Follow the instructions and it is easy for two adults to do. Our son loves the trampoline. There is enough room for either I, or my husband, to jump with him, which he insists upon quite often. We do not go over the weight restriction and when I say we jump with him it is more he jumps and we bounce gently bending at the knee without our adult feet leaving the trampoline. Another note, our son has SPD and he is the deep impact seeker. This is one of the items we use to help meet that need. Works great for that. He knows if he wants to jump he has to ask and seek out the trampoline instead of the couch or bed. He gets his need for deep impact jumping met (which is extremely important) along with learning to seek out the proper way to meet that need. No furniture jumping, no crying, good fun for all. The strong smell opening the box is off putting and I strongly recommend airing the trampoline out in a well ventilated area. We nearly took it back the chemical smell was that strong.
The instructions are very complicated and you need 3 people to put it together, during the process one of the straps ripped and I had to return it before we could even use it. I bought one already put together.
My kids are nearly two years old, (twins) and they are very physical. This trampoline seems pretty strong, and has a good bounce. The only issue is that it is not completely level. My husband has tried several times to fix it without much luck. When you sit it flat on all four legs, it wobbles because it the legs are not quite right in length. If you put it on carpet or grass, it might not be too noticeable, but we have wood floors, and it is easy to tell. We figure for $30, the kids are having fun and getting exercise, but I probably would select a better one next time.
...and it's the metal itself in the frame that is poking upwards, making the circumference not smooth. The other problem is that even for the 10yr olds that jumped on it, you can see they ewre trying not to fall off b/c it is so narrow. Though it can withstand weight, b/c of it's narrowness, I'd recommend this only for ppl under the age of 6 or 7.
It's a pretty good trampoline. i bought it for my 2 year old and she loves it. It has a good bounce for her but i weigh 330 pounds and i can't get any bounce with it so if your buying it for an exercise tool idk. Good for a kid's toy though.
