Akai KS800 - Karaoke system - 10 Watt (total)

Its ok for a home system but there are far better systems available

I purchased this karaoke machine for my husband for his birthday. Our family likes to go out to karaoke bars so I thought this would be a nice item to have at home for the nights that we cannot get out. There is a little bit of a humming that comes from the machine, but in all I have been very pleased with this machine. The price was right, you can hook it up to your TV and the speakers from your TV can take over instead of using the machine. Or you can use the speakers from your TV and the machine both as a boost.

I purchased this player in October of 2015. I use it 3 to 4 days a week to learn new songs and practice for performances. The internal speakers work well and the system can be easily hooked into an external sound system. I particularly like the ability to adjust the keys up or down to accommodate my vocal range. Just a great karaoke player

This was a gift for my grandkids. The system is easy for them to use. Good sound for the compact unit. Only comes with one mic. The quality of the mic is poor. It kept going off and on. We ended up using a mic we already had.

Could use a couple of exterior speakers to improve even more
