I used to love this brand but I purchased recently and realized that the new formula is not real soap and has been replaced by cheap chemicals that make it seem like soap but is not. Lauryl glycoside is essentially sodium lauryl sulfate but made from plants instead of synthetic compounds. Real soap is saponified oils which the new product doesn't contain :( sad reality of people being oblivious to green washing.

This shampoo saved my life. I had terrible problems with my scalp, I believe brought on by an allergy to chemicals in many generally available products. I had a bright red very itchy scalp with lots of dandruff for over a year and I was just miserable. I tried many, many shampoos and nothing helped. I found your product and just loved the small number of ingredients listed - so I tried it. It completely got rid of red itchy scalp - and the dandruff, which I have had my entire life and had resigned my left to living with. Thank you!!!!!

I'd given it a 5 star the pump didn't work. Other then that I've been buying this product for year due to my allergies against scents, and you don't need a lot cause it goes a long ways in cleaning ones hair
