Alamont Home - Contemporary Vinyl Adjustable Height Barstool - Brown

I use this as a vanity chair in my bathroom. I bought it in white because my cabinets and countertop are white. It blends right in. It was easy to assemble. Material quality is good. It doesn't look cheap. The height is not adjustable. The base is a little too wide for me to slide it under the counter, however it doesn't take up much space. The stool is very comfortable. The only thing I didn't like was there was an impression made on the vinyl seat perhaps made by packaging.

So far these are great chairs. I was expecting them to be cheaply made and look/feel like it. If they are cheaply made, it is not noticeable. The seats are much larger than I was expecting as well. The only thing I MIGHT complain about, is for heavier people(my 6'3", 230lbs partner) the chairs sink down quite a bit. Not really a problem for us though, just puts us at the same height then! :)

Hope you have tools to fix the bad design. The instructions are pitiful and I am very mechanical. The tabs on the lift lever are not properly bent to hold the handle in place. After you assemble it 4 times you will figure out you need a plier to bend them into place where they need to be in order for it to work. Then you need duct tape to fix the cheap handle which breaks when you can't get the seat to move up and down. After all of this don't try calling their customer service department . After 4 messages which were never returned I gave up. I give this a 2 since once I figured out what was wrong and fixed it- this is a nice chair. The company who sells and produces it - well that is another story.

I ordered this bar stool as the 4th stool to use in our camper which came with 3 bar stools at the counter. It stores right under the bar counter and is there when we have a 4th person visit. I really like the cylinder that lets you adjust to any height you need! I put the 4 pieces together in less than 15 minutes. The price was great for the value, would order more of these if I needed them, don't be on the fence if you are thinking of buying.
