Alen - BreatheSmart 45i 800 SqFt Air Purifier with Pure HEPA Filter for Allergens, Dust & Mold - Graphite

I bought this Alen BreatheSmart 45i True HEPA Air Purifier because it was advertised as being very quiet - which it is on the lowest setting, which is where I keep it. Unlike the Alen T-500 (which is way more noisy), the 45i produces a very low-pitched (Pink noise), as opposed to the T-500 which produces a staticy high-pitched (White noise). Buy the filters on the recurring plan with Alen and receive a lifetime warranty on the 45i hardware itself. I would strongly recommend this product for its quietness and quality.

Came promptly. Easy to set up. Works great. I have complete confidence in the effectiveness. Consumer Reports agrees! No need for customer service, but had a question about where best to set it to work and had a prompt and courteous response. Happy to share more after the first filter change in 9 to 12 months. Couldn't be happier so far.

I liked the i45 enough I bought two! I like one in the rooms I frequent most and got tired of moving it room to room however they are lightweight. I'm impressed with the packaging and set up was simple and the unit very user friendly. Only thing is, I bought the fresh filter for one of them and don't notice any difference in scent. Works the same as the original filter in the other one. All in all very, impressed and satisfied with my two purifiers

Finally I have a noticeably better atmosphere at home! No more stale dusty, smoky air. Air is cleaner and fresher overall. I live in the city so the unit runs mainly in the amber setting and this is an improvement from not having an air purifier! I love the results so much, I plan on getting another unit.

Since purchasing my 45i last year, both my husband and i have noticed improved air quality in our Florida home. We are less congested and feel better. We also purchased a 75i for the kitchen/living room area and enjoy hearing the purifier ramp up to clean the air of odors when we are cooking.
