Algreen Cascata 65 Gallon Rain Barrel

This rain barrel urn fits neatly at the back of a corner garden that was getting washed out by the amount of rain delivered from a roof valley. I also do not have spigots on this side of the house, so two problems were solved at once. In addition, it is attractive and blends in well with the house and garden.

I am a retired lady who was able to hook the whole thing up myself with no problem. Once hooked up, an inch of rain running through my single story house's gutter more than filled this rain barrel. I am very with pleased. I would encourage you to add a runoff hose and clamp. Without it, I had to make a run to my closest hardware store, which easily had the clamp but not the run off hose. Why not include it? I was disappointed everything was not included in the package to hook it all up. Excluding the lack of run of hose and clamp, I would haved definitely given it a five star rating. It is beautiful and looks durable too.

We have a small garden in our backyard and several rain barrels serving as the primary irrigation sources. While I understand the utilitarian purpose is primary, it's so nice to have a collection vessel that is also aesthetically pleasing, too! This one sits on our porch because it's pretty enough to be seen AND it works beautifully!

This product would be good the the part of the country with no freeze. Do not want a product that you have to bring in because of possible weather damage. This should be added to the product statement it is plastic. Feel kinda like I was taken in a film flam.

This lovely piece has been quite the coversation starter. Most of my neighbors have been over to examine it. (They were surprised to learn that it isn't a real clay pot!)I've been able to convince many of them to think about rain barrels as a way to conserve water. Unfortunately, right after I installed my rainwater urn, we hit a draught. I haven't been able to take advantage of its functionality.
