Align Probiotic Supplement Chewable Tablets, Banana Strawberry Smoothie 24 ea (Pack of 6)

As someone who often suffers from dietary upset caused by a poor diet and extreme stress I can honestly say this product works wonders! I noticed a huge difference in the first week. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was excited to try Align® Chewables Probiotic Supplement because I've been on the hunt for an effective probiotic for the last several months. My hunt has led me to try several different brands, but none of them has seemed to make a difference in my digestive health. I'm sad to report that Align® Chewables Probiotic Supplement was no better than the others. I felt no difference in my digestive health at all. It is nice that it's chewable, so I can grab it and go without getting a glass of water first. The flavor is Banana Strawberry Smoothie, but I don't taste strawberry at all. It reminds me of banana runts, after you've sucked off the candy coating and bite into them. I'd rather have more strawberry than banana, but it's not too bad.

I gave the flavor a 2 - it was a disjointed strawberry/banana flavor. Strawberry banana is not an appealing combination for medications, in my opinion. I gave Align an overall "1" because the claims of helping your digestive system did not amount to anything for me.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was very excited to try these probiotic chewables, as I have had some "issues" lately and have been looking for something that would help. However, I have to say I'm a little disappointed. I took the chewables every morning for over 2 weeks, hoping that the longer I used them, that I might see better results. I saw very little improvement over time and feel as though maybe this just isn't the product I need to help my specific digestive problems. The product itself is pretty neat though. I really like the idea of a chewable probiotic and the strawberry banana flavor didn't disappoint. The tablets didn't leave a chalky taste in my mouth and I didnt need to follow up with a drink like I do with other types of chewable tablets. There was no lasting weird taste in my mouth throughout the day either. Also, I really liked that each tablet comes individually in a blister pack, which kept my curious toddler from getting into them. It helped me to keep track of how many I had taken throughout the month as well. So overall, I think the product itself was great, very innovative, and the packaging was also very attractive and stands out among other brands on store shelves. Unfortunately, I just don't feel it was very effective or at least did not meet my specific needs.

So, I have had some, shall we say, digestive issues for a year or two now. Just some foods would make my lower digestive tract start to bubble and grumble unhappily. It's gotten better since my husband and I started eating out less, but man, was that uncomfortable and inconvenient. But so, since I started using Align Chewable Probiotic Supplements, I haven't had even a single meal start my stomach making uncomfortable and ominous noises! I don't have words for how amazing that is! And! It tastes pretty good too. Slightly chalky, but only a little. I'm not sure if it comes in several flavors, but Strawberry Banana is pretty much exactly what I would want it to be. :) Does it taste quite like strawberry or banana? well, not exactly, but no one really expects these things to, do they?
