Aller-Ease Durable Microfiber Waterproof Mattress Cover

This product was easy to put on the mattress. The zipper closure is ample enough to make it a one person job. However, this product is not waterproof. It is water resistant, so if you're looking for something that will protect your mattress from a "bed wetting accident" that your child may have, this product is not what you want.

I read the reviews that said the twin was huge. I'm actually using mine for a futon, so that is already a weird size. I ordered the twin thinking maybe it would fit, but it doesn't. clearly the cover on a toddler twin bed would be big, but on a normal size twin mattress with pillow top, i would fit nice. Re-ordered the double, its huge on the futon, so I have to tuck it in. But, quality is very good.

We have used this on our King sized bed for the past year. We have a mattress pad over it, and then the fitted sheet on top of that. It took a helper to get it on, but we haven't had any problems with it. We were so satisfied, that we came back and purchased the same product for the other beds in our home.

Seems to be just what we wanted. Fits the mattress well. Fabric seems sort of plastic. Don't know how long it will last.

I bought this product as a preventative measure and so far so good. But that may be due to the fact that I don't have any bedbugs anyway. The mattress cover fit well and was easy to install (although it does require two people). I found the product to be as advertised and so am very happy with it. It is providing peace of mind for me but I really do not know if it is effective against bedbugs.
