Allswell Sensacool Bed Pillow, King

The pillow is okay. Not what I thought it would be like, but great for propping up. I can't sleep on it though.

The sensacool standard/queen pillow measures 20 x 28 inches. While it does help keep my head cool, it is very 'lofty' and does not have much support, which is why I only gave it 4-stars. I have to use mine on top of another pillow for comfort. If you like a flatter pillow, you'll love this one. The pillow is filled with 100% polyester fiber batting. The shell is made of 53% polyester/29.5% Nylon/17.5% Polyethylene. The shell is made in China, but filled and finished in the USA. It is machine washable on cold, gentle cycle and can be tuble-dried on low heat.

This pillow is soft and really does a great job of supporting the head. This is not a pillow that would be best for a side sleeper. But this pillow is definitely is soft and really supports the head. If you're looking for a soft pillow and form fitting, this is the pillow for you. It doesn't have a zipper so you may want to purchase a pillow protector, although it is machine washable.

This pillow is the correct size (meaning it fits a standard pillowcase, measuring about 20”x28”) and looks like a nicely filled pillow but it feels more like a child’s stuffed animal than a pillow, in that it is very soft and compresses easily. I’m a side sleeper so I dislike a pillow that is too firm but this one is a little too soft for me and my head sinks in too much (so it sort of covers my mouth a bit). The filling is 100% polyester fiber batting, and the outer cover is polyester (53%), nylon (29.5%) and polyethylene (17.5%). It had a slight chemical odor on taking it out of the bag but that seemed to go away fairly quickly. One edge did not have piping, which seemed odd, but it was securely sewn and that doesn’t really matter after the pillow has been inserted into a pillowcase. It could be usable for others who like fluffy pillows but is only getting 3 Stars because it is marketed as having a “cooling” aspect to it and although I could detect a slight coolness to the touch on the outside, that is completely nonexistent once it is covered by a pillowcase. Since I would not sleep on a pillow without it being in a pillowcase, it isn’t possible to get any sense of coolness on my face while sleeping. I do like that it fluffs back up once you take your head off and that it is machine washable and can be dried in the dryer, so I plan to keep this around in case I need an extra pillow for my grandsons, but I will not be using it on my own bed for myself.

The ALLSWELL SENSACOOL BED PILLOW boasts a cooling performance based upon having a knit cover. It did not cool my head or eliminate sweating during my sleep time. I gave this pillow an average 3-star rating based on the facts that this pillow is a nice size; it is comfortable, and it is reasonably priced. This pillow is medium firm and well made. Its design is a pattern knit cover that is filled with 100% polyester fiber batting according to the label on it. This pillow is machine washable and dryer safe.
