Almay Smart Shade Concealer, Hypoallergenic, Cruelty, Oil, Fragrance-Free - Light Medium Mine

I ordered shade 010 - my best light %26 recieved shade 030 not only the wrong shade but the concealer was an old livery so goodness knows how old and out of date this concealer was. Very disappointed in the seller. Now I have to wait in from 9 am to 6 pm for FedEx to come pick it up. Better things to do, honestly!

I received this Almay smart shade skintone matching concealer in the shade "060 make mine dark" in exchange for my honest review. Let me start off by saying that this shade is not what I expected, as it is way too dark for me. I would try it again in my shade though, as it seems really good for light and buildable coverage. This particular shade that I received would be great for someone with tan or a darker skintone though. Overall, it blended easily and did not streak. However, it took a bit for me to cover up some blemishes. It does give medium to full coverage if you continue to apply layers as needed. I really would only recommend it for minor imperfections though. Staying power seems to be ok, as it seems to hold up just as long as other brands.

Don't let the size, of this concealer, fool you. A little goes a long way! It's thick and creamy And comes out of the tube in an almost gray Color. But as soon as you start rubbing it in, It changes to an individualized color. I use this On dark spots, under eye circles and even to Hide blemishes. It works great!

I haven't used a concealer in quite a while as I really wasn't seeing much results. This concealer seems like it goes on a little dark (Irish girl skin tone) but once I rubbed it in it seems to really blend in well with my skin giving it a consistent tone to cover up the circles and puffiness I have. I also noticed that I didn't feel like I wanted to wash it off for being thick or heavy on my face or watery eyes like I get with some other make ups I've tried. I'm light skinned with freckles, red cheeks and uneven tan. I chose the medium bc of this. It turned out to be too dark for me. I still applied it to see how much coverage it would have even if it was too dark. The coverage was nice actually. Covered my red cheeks and freckles decently enough.
