Alpine Corporation 2100 GPH Cyclone Pond Pump Submersible

This pump has been working great in my pond for a few weeks now. The screen/filter before the intake holds off leaves very well, and it's easy to reach down and remove the leaves while it's still running. I attached the pump to an outlet with a remote switch to turn it on and off easily.

This is a great pump for making a small outdoor water feature or coy pond. It was fairly easy to install and game with instructions on how to get it up and working. As long as you follow the directions then you should have no troubles as to getting your new little pond up and working in no time!! I've wanted a water feature for a very long time and no with this pump it's possible. I can't wait to be able to sit back and enjoy this for years to come. I can just imagine the hours of relaxation that it will bring to be sitting outdoors listening to the water and being able to see the faces of my grandkids smiling and hearing their laughter. I'll be one happy MeMa that's for sure.

We have used this as a sump pump and our pump for a in work pond. It works great but does take a bit of priming. I would recommend for either. It has great power.

This review is for the Alpine 3100 GPH Cyclone Pond Pump. I am using the Alpine pump for my 500 gallon pond in my backyard. It seems to work pretty well, and has plenty of power. The price is very economical and compared to others it is the best bargain, in my opinion. It pumps the water without any effort and is able to move a large volume of water. The flow to the pond is perfect. The pump is quite and energy efficient. It gathers chopped debris into the impeller cavity, so it is easily removed in one big clump. The fact that the motor is fully isolated from the impeller is a huge selling point to me. Overall, it seems well built and the parts feel like they will last for a long time. As far as installation…There are multiple adjusters to fit different sized tubes, which makes installation easy. It only took me a matter of minutes to complete the installation process. I could not be more pleased and expect many years of continuous operation. I have had pumps that were much more expensive than this one, but this one seems to do the job better than those do. I highly recommend this pump!
