Bought this pair of speakers to have one at home and one to keep at work. The speaker at home is working great. The one for work turns itself off after just a couple minutes. Both speakers were charged overnight. I've tried looking up troubleshooting tips and resetting the speaker still turns itself off.

Firstly, this is a two star review instead of a one star review because of how good the speakers sound when they're operating properly. The sound is simply awesome! However, there is a critical flaw. Intermittently (about once every 10 minutes) the paired speakers will cut out, and the stereo sound becomes unsynchronized. There is a time delay between one speaker playing a sound with the other. Sometimes they'll cut out again shortly after and re-synchronize, other times I have to power both speakers off, re-pair Bluetooth to a device and re-join the speakers to get them to start playing in sync. Also note that these speakers have the sound drivers pointed up. Indoors, like on the kitchen counter, they sound great - but outside the sound fires up at the clouds and birds and is largely missed by the human ears. I contacted all Altec Lansing about the out of sync issue. They referred me to “Headquarters“ where I was only offered the option to leave a voicemail. 15 days later they have not returned my call. Much sadness and disappointment in these.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great little speaker. It packs a lot of bass! So you will see it move, it does come with a little strap if you choose to hang it so it won't move around too much. It's super responsive and had great sound.

We have taken it to the beach and used at the pool so it has taken a beating and still works perfectly! I was skeptical about the sound since it is so small but even my speaker fanatic husband gives it a thumbs up. Definitely perfect for our family with kids. It truly seems everything proof!
