Amana - 18.6 Cu. Ft. Bottom-Freezer Refrigerator - White

Our Amana, model like the new one we bought, died after 15+ years. The interior is much like the old one and as we were very satisfied with the old one, I bought sight unseen because I needed a frig and didn't have time to go shopping. The frig is nice looking and has good storage inside. The door closes with too much force. My biggest complaint is that it is noisy. I don't notice it all the time, but during certain cycles, the noise is annoying.

We got our fridge about 2 weeks ago & we were pleased to see that we could fit even more in the fridge than our old comparable Amana. The freezer door also is easier to use. The finish is beautiful & the styling is more sleek looking. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Best fridge ever! We had our old Amana side by side for FORTY YEARS, but when our popsicles were melting we knew it was time! We love the bottom freezer and the huge interior of our new fridge! We know we'll never make it another 40 years, but we sure hope our refrigerator does! btw We added an ice maker - it's quiet and runs well as does our fridge!! I replaced my 20.5 cubic ft., Maytag top freezer for a smaller bottom freezer.....and am not regretting my decision. It seem like I have more room...go figure. I like having my refrigerator at eye level....and the few times I need to get something out of the freezer....the roll out shelves make it very easy. It is very quiet, the door seals tightly, and it doesn't run as much as my previous refrigerator. If I didn't have a cabinet enclosure, I would have gotten the larger size, but I haven't missed the 2 cubic ft.......although I will put it to the true test at Thanksgiving! The produce/ vegetable/ snack drawers are not the the most durable looking, but I am not rough....for the money, it is a well made refrigerator, without many of the bells and whistles that tend to be problematic in the long run.
