Americana Stainless Steel Electric Water Smoker

Happy family with smoked meats. Best brisket and chicken ever!Sharp edges so be careful when putting it together. Line your bowl with aluminum foil if you want easy clean up .. Other wise prepare to scrub for days.

I smoke turkeys every thanksgiving for our family get together for the last 10 years or so, I had always bought the cheap smokers that did work well but would rust out after a few years. This smoker will last a life time I think and is well worth the extra money to know you won't get caught with a rusted out water pan or leg at the last second before a holiday.

This is a replacement for us, a product we have long enjoyed. Upgraded to stainless after the prior non-stainless eventually succumbed to rust. Tried to buy locally from a national internet retailer based here in my town. They gave me the wrong product, then were surly about an exchange. Saved about $50 moving my business to Hayneedle.

Would have gave it 5 stars if the smoker would have shown degrees. All I can get it up to is Ideal, whats ideal for me may not be ideal for someone else. I will add a temperature indicator that will read degrees and hope it will be better. Jim

I assembled it when I got it all parts there in good shape . I have not fired it up yet . I purchased it because of economics . A single smoked turkey costs about $ 99.00 for a 7 - 8 lbs turkey. This device is cheaper over long run . I eat salad with smoked turkey in it and purchase turkey year around - not just Holidays . This smoker is not large but it can hold a large turkey for sure . It has good inside and outside construction and it is sturdy not flimsy . I am waiting for right time to cook .
