I shipped this to my daughter several miles away. i asked her if she liked it today, she said when she got it the batteries were correded and had to replace them. so that means it had set in a warehouse a very long time. if i had known that when she got it, i would have returned it.

I bought this and when it Finally arrived it had coroded in the battery department because ( I'm assuming) that the batteries exploded .I cleaned it out and got it new batteries and it works ok . The sanding part only lasts for so long isn't as coarse as I expected . 3 out of 5 stars

Do not buy! First 2 returned because at least one of the batteries had leaked. One of the replacements had the case already open, no tab to protect batteries, also had a battery that had started leaking. I think they just reship returned ones! PS: 2nd one was good, but I would not buy from a vendor that reships garbage.

Came with corroded batteries and terminal. Looked sealed but the handle was greasy and looked like it had been handled. I wiped it off and assumed it was done while packing because I swear it was sealed (probably just resealed well now that I see other reviews.) It doesn't have much power than the generic I thankfully kept. It also has a very high pitched motor louder than the generic as well. The handle is very comfortable to hold and move around though.

miss representation..it is a "knock off" not an Amope. The one I recieved was forest green and in a plain clear plastic package with no information. It works the same and I am able to use file replacements. So for the price its still a win and the file was fine not coarse (but I had replacements from Amope that died)
