Very good gessoed board for my school art projects, especially the larger ones 24" x 36" with the 1-1/2 cradles. Well-made and sturdy with a superb painting surface for initial pencil drawing followed by acrylic painting.

I usually prefer smooth surfaces to rough (traditional canvases). These panels take the paint just as I want them to and I'll continue to buy them. None better as far as I'm concerned.

Ampersand is the best, and these panels are really nice and thick. I would recommend. Make sure to check the size of cradle on panels you are buying. I forgot with this order, but they're still veery nice :)
