Andis High Heat Ceramic Flat Iron, Black, 1-1/2 Inches

My last flat iron was by Andis. That being said, I felt like I was making a familiar purchase. My last one lasted several years, and worked great, straightened mine and my daughters hair. Then one day, it lit up, but would not heat up... So, I went and bought this one.. same product, just a 1/2 inch bigger. I purchased this on 1/12, here it is 1/22, and this thing decided to blow up in my hand... same setting and outlet as usual, nothing different. I mean literally, I was coming to the end of a curl on the right side of my head, and BOOM... Scared me to death so i dropped it. After that, all I smelled was that smokey, burning smell from the flat irons... I haven't heard of this happening before. But, I will definitely be trying a different next time. I have had others, and nothing like this has ever happened.

This is the Best Buy for the price. My daughter has a lot of hair and I needed something reliable. You can control the heat with multiple setting. For me the best feature is the reinforced tips to prevent you from burning your fingers.

This is a fantastic flat iron! I've had several in the past 'few years' :-) but this one tops them all! Heats up quickly and the size if perfect for my shorter styled hair!

This was my first experience using a flat iron so I didn't want to spend a lot of money. This iron is GREAT! I've gotten compliments on my hair all week long since I've used it! Definitely consider this iron!
