Angelcare Movement and Sound Monitor (Your Choice)

I bought this to help ease my mind when I brought my daughter who was born a month early home. I had heard mixed reviews about it but other monitors like this seemed to have worse review. I personally love it. My daughter is now 4 months old and this monitor has gone off twice, I believe it's because baby was so deep asleep and didn't take a breath which is common in premies. I was able to wake her up and hate to think what might have happened if I didn't have the monitor. I love all it's features and the price. I recommend this for soon to be parents for sure.

Our 5 month old rolls and will only sleep on her tummy now. Rolling her back wakes her up, repeat. This monitor was easy to install, just a quick run to the hardware store for a flat board under the mattress. We left the sensitivity level as it arrived at 3 and seems to work. The alarm has gone off once so far, we ran in and found the baby in a deep sleep but ok. Good to know the monitor is sensing her change in breathing and we all sleep great now! Nightlight feature is great. This is our second baby and I honestly wish I had had this as soon as our first started in the crib.

Either Walmart sold a unit that doesn't work or this product is just terrible. Either way, I'm returning it tomorrow.

Easy to setup and quality of the product is good

Once the baby started sleeping through the night I was thrilled, into her room she went. I finally get to sleep through the night...wrong! This is my 2nd set of these, both with the same issue. The parent unit makes a weird, inconsistent, scratching noise. I tried different channels& moving them as close as possible without either leaving the designated room, no change. The receivers are maybe 20 feet away & the noise continues. I have to turn it down to the lowest setting, I'm not super light sleeper but the inconsistent noise is enough to keep me up or wake me. So now I can't hear her until she's screaming. Essentially I might as well not have a monitor at all!! Returning, again, & getting a new model all together!!
