Ann Williams Group Loopdedoo Spinning Loom

My daughters (14 and 10) and I received a complimentary copy of this product and gave it a spin, so to speak! The possibilities this kit provides seem endless. Instructions are provided for a large number of looping style and thickness combinations, and a variety of attractive thread colors are included. The instructions were a bit much for my youngest, though she loved watching the bracelets come together. After a bit of a learning curve - though the instructions provide many pictures and links to helpful videos - my older daughter and I started to really get the hang of it and made some neat looking bracelets. Definitely recommend to those who are experienced crafters and/or follow instructions well.

We got this a few weeks ago. My 11yr old & her 12yr old friend, had fun making bracelets together. However it is time consuming, bracelets & are not fast or easy too make. The string kept getting stuck on the spindle, it took them a bit to figure it out. Overall it's a great way to keep them occupied with something other than electronics.

My daughter loves making friendship bracelets for her friends and family members and herself of course. This simple device allows for endless possibilities of really interesting and beautiful bracelets, necklaces, headbands, belts, anklets, etc! It allows for so much creativity. So many design possibilities. The colors of thread that came with the loom are beautiful and varied as well.

I am a teacher and put this out my last day for students to funnel their energy into something positive. Students utilized their peers and instruction booklet (with pictures!) to make their creations. It allowed them to break away from technology and make some cool things!

I liked how many different varieties of bracelets that you can make with this loom. The style that I found the easiest to make was the the swirl. It was fun to twist the different colors together. It would be great to have more thread color choices though. I feel like the amount of thread provided can only be used for 1-2 items. The loom is easy to use, but it can get caught sometimes. I was not sure how to make the bracelet smaller to fit my wrist. I would like instructions for a style that could be adjusted more clearly. I think this is a great activity for a birthday party or sleepover to make friendship bracelets.
