I bought this item for my daughter for her birthday! She used it all of 2 weeks and it died and wouldn't come on. I took the item back to Walmart to replace it and they couldn't replace it through exchange they informed me I would have to purchase at new that was marked back up to regular price!
READ THIS BEFORE BUYING! Intentional deceit. Nowhere in the title/product description does it clearly state this is from a 3rd party seller (says from walmart.com). Additionally, there is NO mention that these are refurbished or restored. Very misleading. Walmart and seller, with whom the tablet was provided, should be held accountable. Tablet worked a handful of times for very minimal tasks (i.e. browsing and shopping the internet). Was unable to use the Apple tv/music trial subscription offers included with the IPad purchase, which was a red flag but I ignored it. The tablet screen is now completely blacked out, will not charge, cannot force restart and have had it less than 30 days. So much wasted time researching what to get, then where to get it and now to return it to my local Walmart store (40 minutes away). They will not refund my money to the original form of payment. Store credit only! A frustrating lesson learned and Walmart has lost another loyal customer. Will shop for necessities IN STORE with the amount credited (if they even honor the return) and will shop elsewhere for future purchases, especially pricier items. Consumers have the right to accurate, full disclosure and transparency. Buyers, please do not spend your hard earned money at a retailer where they couldn't care less about the quality of their goods or services.
I never received my iPad, I contacted Walmart for over a month trying to get a refund or replacement. They kept giving me the run around saying that I would get a refund then told me after a month that the window for a refund is closed. I spoke to multiple people they all lied to me. Eventually they told me to contact my bank to get the refund but I shouldn't have had to do that because it wasn't their fault!
I was sent a refurbished iPad when I had purchased when I purchased a brand new iPad. Called customer service 6 times 2 different times of the 6 times I spoke with supervisors . I am currently awaiting to be refunded my money and supposed to be gifted the the refurbished iPad that I received. I am currently waiting to for this whole issue to be resolved. After all the misinformation and "passing the buck " on 6 phone calls later I am still skeptical based on my experiences with this nightmare . I Am willing to write resubmit a positive rating if this finally gets resolved
It three trips to the local Walmart and one call to their customer service to return this iPad which I returned completely unopened. The staff in all four situations were awesome - polite, knowledgeable and helpful. It's just their software kept giving system error.
