I bought this Ipod a few weeks ago, I really like it because intead of having all my CD's in my car I can just download the music I like to my Ipod and listen to the music thru an Itrip. I do have a big problem everytime I download more songs to my Ipod the song that were already in my Ipod get deleted, this is my first time using an ipod, so can somebody help me and tell me what can I do, to just keep adding more songs intead of loosing what I already have in my Ipod.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sound quality is amazing and being able to carry your entire music library with you wherever you go is the best...which brings up the only problem--having nearly 3000 songs (with space enough for thousands more) I just can't decide what to listen to! Also it only took a few minutes to first sync the 1500+ songs to the iPod from iTunes even with a PC running windows!

I got my iPod a few weeks ago and it became my life. all my contacts, schedules, and to-do lists in one happy format. i run my own business so being able to use my iPod for all of those things really helped. There is so much space I dont know what to do with it. I have about 20 gigs worth of stuff on it right now and i can't wait to get more. The only downside is it is impossible to keep clean. mine always has finger prints on it.... otherwise a great product and you can really save by buying it at Wal-Mart

The additions to the latest generation, the iPod "Classic", are not as bad as everyone makes them seem. The menus have been cleaned up and look much more pleasing to the eye than before. Allowing you to view cover art as you scroll through your library. If you use the Cover Flow option, don't expect greatness. It takes the iPod a while to load up the picture of the album and quite honestly doesn't really help too much in selecting what you're going to listen to. Luckily you hare able to disable it in the settings. The main menu has a ridiculous 50-50 look on the screen where it has the normal menu on one half and on the other half it shows random images of album art. Nothing too pesky considering you'll be in your library most of the time and not on the main menu. The only disadvantage with this iPod is the fact that when you're listening to your music and the iPod sits idle for a few minutes a kind of screen saver will show the time, the status of your music (play, pause) and the battery life. This is inconvenient if you want to see the music you're playing. It will show when you touch the scroll wheel. But that is really the only disadvantage to it. Otherwise, its exactly what you'd expect from an iPod.

My first iPod video was the 30GB classic that came out about 2 1/2 years ago and when i got it for christmas i fell in love with it. In January it got ruin by a soda can hole in my purse and i was without an iPod. I just got this one and I'm in love with it, there are so many different things to it but it doesn't go far with the first one i had. I love being able to have on my songs on one little thing, not being tied down with cds and batteries. I just charge it and i have enough to listen to it on the school bus, hour bus route to and from school, in the mornings and afternoons, then i just pop it in my car and I'm set. sure there are things about it that aren't that great, like the back get marks on it easily, and the battery will need to be replaced in the future but those are little things that don't bother the big picture of the ipod. The only thing that bothers me are the headphones it comes with, they are to big for my ears and i had to go out and buy different ones but if you are looking for an MP3 player that won't let you down then the iPod is for you.
