This does what it says, but the fine print is, it will not work with Netflix, prime etc. I did get it to work with YouTube and Peacock. I got mine on sale and maybe it was worth it in a pinch.

Without cable or internet; I can watch Astros baseball games on fuboTV using this device, an HDMI cable, my iphone, and my samsung smart tv. of course I can view anything that's on my phone on my tv, but I got it to watch the Astros

Easy connections, and works great! Use Apple Products with Apple Phones. I tried a different manufacturer and it didn't work. Connected this accessory with my phone and it worked right away.

Must have been too good to be true. Bought it for $23 bucks, less than half Apple's retail price of $49. I had the OFFICIAL Apple AV adapter before. I used it with Prime Video, Netflix, Hulu, NO PROB. I lost that one. Now I just bought this Walmart one, which is supposed to be the same one, but ALL apps (netflix, prime video, etc) won't play my video because of HDCP content restrictions. According to Apple, this error might occur if you're not using HDCP compliant adapter. But I am! And it worked a week ago with the previous adapter. Likely counterfeit. I'm returning it.
