The Apple Pen provides precision, pixel level accuracy, which makes it a nice to for creating art on the iPad. I wish companies would ship devices with a charging base instead of just a charging cable, but other than that I'm happy.
I got this for my new IPad and I've never been happier with a product. You can write so well with this you'll forget it's even an eletriconic pen. lol. It magnets to the side of your IPad. It's nice.
The pencil connected without any problems. I have been using the pencil doing things already on my iPad. Soon, I will be adding apps to use the pencil. Overall I am very satisfied with my purchase.
THIS PENCIL DOES NOT HAVE PRESSURE SENSITIVITY!!! It is almost as outdated as the first gen pencil. This pencil is obviously meant for note taking, NOT drawing. Pay the extra $$ and get the 2nd gen.
Product fits no nice and is deceptive marketing on apples part. No pen pressure makes the pencil no different than using a stick with some tin foil wrapped to the end for the price of a first gen which had all the useful features I thought would still be applied here
