Aqua Culture 10-Gallon Glass Aquarium Starter Kit

i had this fish tank for less than 4 months and the bottom completely shattered when i was sleeping and when i woke up all the water was on my floor leaking through my ceiling and all 5 of my fish died.

Lucky it didn’t burn my house down!! One of the led lights MELTED, thank goodness we were home and awake to catch it via the smell of burning plastic!

I bought three of these from Walmart. Set them up and they almost immediately started leaking out the backside from the filtration units. You don't have to be a rocket scientist to see the filter has no plastic backstop or TOP? I reached out to Charles @ Aqua Culture/ Tetra and they have yet to do anything but basically avoid and deflect the obvious design flaw issue. The kits are less then two weeks old and Charles told me the filter media needed to be changed?!?? They told me the would send replacement filters upon receiving receipts and pictures which I sent and then he immediately began to backpedal. Stay clear of these, though affordable and nice looking, you'll end up replacing the filter. Luckily Walmart was able to provide some help. The manufacture to this point ZERO.

I will never buy an aquarium kit from anywhere else! I have 2 (10 and 20 gallon). Both arrived very quickly, with excellent package. Very sturdy with no leaks whatsoever. The lighting is nice and bright. The filters are super quiet (I only use the one for the 10 gallon since I have a bunch of equipment for older aquariums). You will have to buy a few things such as a heater/air pump/tubing. But you can get all that stuff cheap. I use Seachem products so I do not use the safe start or flakes provided. But I have used in the past as a beginner and the products are fine in my opinion. You begin to try more products as you gain more knowledge in the hobby. All in all, anyone looking to start a new aquarium. I always refer them to this kit :)

I’m absolutely in love with this idem. I also purchased a 6.5 gallon tank from Walmart and was upset when I opened it and it was busted. But I was excited when I opened this tank. I love it, I love that it was surrounded in styrofoam to keep it from breaking and providing extra support. I haven’t moved my fish into it yet but if anything changes I’ll update my review. The leds was a pain to clip in but they look amazing when I got them clipped in and they’re supper bright
