The tablet is fast, easy to use, has wi-fi and lots of hard drive space to add lots of multimedia files.

I purchased this product for my daughter instead of an Ipad and was blown away by the amount of features it had for less than half the price of an Ipad. I was able to get skype and netflix (her 2 main requests) after downloading arctools with alittle work. She absolutely loves it. The product seemed cheaply made with part of the back being plastic so I did purchase the warranty that Walmart offers for 2 years, but all and all very satisfied and so is she....

Worked for couple days and then stop working. First thing went was camera and then system locked up, and then every other time system did not boot(start up)up when I tried to start the system, then touch screen did not respond at all. I tried to reset the system by having system full reset, that did not work either. Some of the App's you couldn't use it anyway. I would stay away from this product. Spend little bit more and get the system that actually work every time you turn system on. Stay away from this brand(Archos Touchscreen Tablet PC)

Read android tablet forums before purchasing the Archos 70 tablet. There are numerous complaints about the Archos 70 having wifi connection issues. While I read some so I was aware of the issue, I was not prepared for the impossibility of the task. I have decent router knowledge and 3 other devices that continually connect via wifi so I expected to be able to overcome any issues. The Archos 70 does not play nice with wireless router security. The Archos 70 tablet would connect to my wireless router for about 10 seconds and then disconnect although it would show as still connected. I had the tablet for 3 days. During that time I had a total of about 1 hour of wifi connectivity and spent about 10 hours trying. Archos customer service is even more useless than their tablet. When I contacted them they told me it had to be an issue with my wireless router. I frequently have visitors that connect to my secure wifi and as I said before I have 3 devices that I also connect to my wifi without issue. If that was not the case, customer services belief may have been reasonable. However, informed of the fact that the wireless router works flawlessly with every other device the customer service agent insisted there was nothing wrong with the Archos 70 and it had to be my router. If every device ever has worked except one, I think that shows there is something wrong with that device and not the router. I also made several modifications to my wifi router in an attempt to resolve the issue and still had no access with the Archos 70 while the other devices I continually tried at the same time still had no issue. On the request of the customer service agent I went to a public open wifi location to test the chip and although I did have access, I already knew the chip was not the issue as I had intermittent connection at my home. What it did prove was my point, the Archos 70 has issues with secure wifi. Since the first customer service agent seemed to know nothing except there was in his belief, no issue with the tablet, I asked for a supervisor. He would not let me speak with one immediately and told me they would have to call me back in 24-48 hours. Of course, no one ever did. Based on my experience and from what is widely commented about on android tablet forums, there is a serious issue with Archos 70's ability to connect to wifi and it is obvious Archos refuses to address it. While it seems to be a nice tablet, what good is it if it can't connect to wifi. Save yourself the frustration, there are plenty of other alternatives that work and have attentive customer support.
