Ariat Ladies Ring Team Black Grey Helmet Sling Backpack 10018904

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This ringside bag is great for everyday use and for shows! I can keep my helmet, crop, spurs, a water bottle, and extra clothes in this and it's come in handy. I've even used it for school when I've had to go straight to class from the barn.

The mesh “helmet holder” on this backpack doesn't really fit a normal sized helmet. When the bag was completely empty, it baaaarely fit (and I felt like the mesh was about to break). After putting a couple items into the backpack so it was slightly puffed, it was impossible to get the mesh over the helmet. I finally got it to work by adding some hair ties to make the connectors longer I don't see why they didn't just make this with a bigger mesh

I recently got this and it holds everything I need but I am confused on how the helmet sling holds my helmet because there is not a clip to clip it on the other side

I really wanted to love this backpack. I received it for Christmas to replaced a different backpack I've had 10 years. So it has been in use since January first and has already shed most of the silver piping. The bag has not been exposed to the elements, I used it for work and store it in my work van daily. I love everything else about it, except now it looks like it is falling apart. It makes me wonder how much longer the rest of the bag will hold together? I took it on one flight, laptop storage worked well and felt secure. I love all the various pockets: I work as an ambulatory large animal vet tech and use them to store my lunch, work badge, extra jacket and scrubs, safety glasses etc. I would not recommend this as a ring bag, I do not feel it would stand up to the heavy use.

I bought this packpack about 5 years ago and it held up so well! I will be honest, I am not gentle on my things and it really did the job. It is small which is nice for shows and just something for the barn everyday. It has several pockets for different things. I will say as a result of its smaller size i could only fit smaller waterbottles in the side pockets and the helmet sleeve was too small and did not fit my helmet. Thankfully i do not typically use the helmet sleeve in my backpacks so it was not a big deal but if you are looking for a bag to hold your helmet this may not be the best option. After so much use the zippers did give away and they broke but i took it to my local dry cleaners and they fixed the zipper for only $15 and i am still using this backpack today! It goes into the washer and comes out brand new and does not come out worn from the wash at all. I can not be more happier with this backpack! years and still looks like new!
