Opening in the seal tight ring to small very hard to expand. Almost impossible to slide over arm cast. Requires 2 people to remove.
Great product for keeping cast dry
It is so much better then a plastic bag and rubber bands or tape. Our son has to have the cast for 3 months. This is very strong and looks like it will hold up.
I actually ordered a short arm protector, but taped up the excess. Worked great with my soft cast and now with my hard cast too. Definitely the only way I can bathe alone as it's my dominant arm that's casted. My cast has never gotten wet even in the shower. Totally recommend it.
This cast protector fit over my hand and arm -- up to just a couple inches below my armpit. (i'm 5'4"). You could get a few more inches out of it by making a fist. The materials are very sturdy; I've only used it three times so far but it seems like it would stand up to long term usage. i must warn, as everyone seems to, that it is very hard to get on. The rubber with the hole in it through which you put your arm is strong, and hard to pull open enough to get your arm thru. It took my husband's two hands and my one good hand to do it. I had a bulky half cast wrapped in ace bandages at the time; someone with less bandaging would have less trouble. Once on, it was tight but not dangerously so. When I was in the shower i didn't really think about it.
