Armor All Ultra Shine Tire & Trim Shine Sponges (8 count)

I received my package of ArmorAll Ultra Shine Tire & Trim sponges and opened the package of 8 pre-moistened sponges. They were a decent size to work with and I was able to easily get into the hard to reach areas of the trim on my van. I used a total of five of the sponges, one for each tire and then another on the trim. After wiping the tires and trim down with these sponges there was a noticeable difference. Before applying it the tires and trim seemed to look fine to me but after, WOW! they looked fresh and shined like new! I appreciate the fact that they weren't dripping or messy. I have used ArmorAll branded things in the past and always liked them and this particular product is also a winner. The photo I am attaching of before and after use don't really show as well as if seen in person.

These are amazing! The box comes with multiple single packages. A single sponge comes folded in each package but boy does that one sponge go far! I used the sponge on two tires and squeezed it - to my surprise it was still pretty full of product. I couldn't see a huge difference between using this and using the product that is in the bottle. So, if you are on the go and don't feel like dealing with the bottle and cloth - definitely get this. You won't be disappointed. Like I said earlier - one sponge can go such a long way!

All tire and trim shines have their pros and cons. Armor All a trusted name with quality products has produced another winner in my opinion. Ease of application and control doesn't get any better. The straight edges of the sponge let you control the detail without over spray, drips or messes. Individual sponge packaging guarantees a fresh product when needed with easy safe storage without any spills. Considering you waste a rag with other products the sponge applicator addition is a welcome plus. It is durable for the rough but beautiful tire detail of modern tires. One sponge will detail two tires and a little trim. I used four sponges for my entire vehicle which has a lot of plastic trim on it. The sponge is saturated enough to flow nicely into raised detail like tire lettering but not over saturated to be sloppy. I could have gotten by with three sponges but I figured eight to a box I might as well be generous with four and safely say a box is good for two vehicles. The finish is not high gloss but more of a satin finish which I like better. It brings the tires and trim alive and accents the paint finish well. I purposely waited two weeks to write a review. The shine lasts a good week of full effect. After two weeks I still see evidence the car has been detailed. Of course where you drive, park and the weather has an effect on longevity. Tire foams are good for two vehicles but are sloppy and messy. You really can't do exterior trim with them or you get it on the paint. Liquid sprays are also messy but you receive more product with no applicator. Armor All Ultra Shine Tire & Trim Sponge has found a spot in my array of car cleaning products.

This is a great product as are all the Armorall products I have used. Very convenient not messy and makes tires and trim shine. Great for removing treesap also I have found.Happy that this product is available to make my trucks tires and trim shine like new.Has no offensive odor and can be used anywhere not just at home. I plan on taking this product on vacation with me to keep my truck looking in fabulous condition between washes.

It seems like Armor All has been around forever. I've always used it when detailing my car and even when cleaning vinyl items around the house (it works great on mini blinds that have been weathered by the sun). Using the large bottle of liquid or the spray version have been both messy and wasteful. An open bottle does not last forever and the spray version sprays the target and just about everything else. The wipe version is an improvement, but you can only cover a small area with a wipe. A wipe is certainly not the best choice for a tire. Armor All now has the perfect solution in the form of the Ultra Shine Sponge. The single use packet contains enough liquid to cover an entire dash on a car or truck or even a couple of tires. It is convenient enough to carry in the glove compartment for that quick touch up when things start to look a little tired. But convenience is only as good as the product. You can see from my pictures of the dash of my 20 year old work van that the treated side (right side) looks markedly better than the untreated (left) side. I waited till the van had a good ten days out in the sun to bake off any short term effects before taking the pictures. Considering the dash on this vehicle had not seen any sort of cleaning in some time. The results show that the Armor All Shine Sponge makes a huge difference. I work at a car dealer and one of the complaints I hear from customers is that the detailers often get overzealous with our spray on tire shine. They get the liquid on the tires as well as just about anything in the near vicinity. It looks great on the tires, but terrible on everything else. The sponge nips that problem in the bud. Overall, this is a good product and I would recommend it to anyone looking to keep up the appearance of their car or other vinyl goods.
