Yes, the name is misleading. But I think the manual pump actually has an advantage over electric flossers- less pressure means less mess for me, and I know it's going to work in a power outage. So I find it works great as a mouthwash dispenser and rinse aid, AFTER flossing. I use a dry mouth mouthwash (Walmart's Equate house brand!) and it's actually convenient first thing in the morning. That said, I think it could be improved with a larger reservoir-- I usually have to refill it after the 2nd or 3rd use. If the manufacturers did this, I'd give it a 5-star rating. ALSO I bought it on a local store clearance price- ~$10, which I think is a more appropriate price point.
