As Seen on TV Pocket Fisherman w/ Plano Pocket Stowaway Value Bundle

This was a present for my son. He loves all types of fishing and asked if I could get him an ice fishing rod and reel for close in fishing on ponds. I remembered this rig from when I was a kid. I couldn't believe it is still being made and is so inexpensive.

This pocket rod hasn't changed at all. Good thing, too. It's just perfect! Easy to carry, easy to use and inexpensive. It really does the job. This little number is great for the amateur fisherman who is out for a few hours to have some fun. It really will catch fish. Highly recommend this rod for plain old fashioned fun. It's easy for kids, too.

Wanted a rod that was portable and easy to use when traveling or needing to pack limited items. I'll be rafting the Rogue River on a guided 5 day trip and am restricted to 1 small duffel bag, the Ronco should work well. I've tried the pocket fisherman in local ponds and rivers and am very satisfied. The most important things on my packing list in the past were clothes and shoes, now it's my fishing pole!

Ok, so it's not huge...but it works awesome!!

Already caught 12 fish with this reel, all in a two hour period.
