Aspen Stages 3-in-1 Crib W/drw - Cherry

We just finished putting this together, which was not very easy. The pieces are not labeled and the instructions are not very clear. Another con I have noticed is that the "conveinent" drop side rail is not so conveinent. It kind of takes two hands and a leg to get it to drop. It also was a little darker than I thought it would be but is still beautiful cherry! I am very impressed with the quality and the overall look of this crib. I have read several reviews about the middle drooping once the child lays in it for a while and since my baby has not yet arrived I can not comment to that, however, I am a little worried about it. I will do another review in a few months or so and vouch to that.

It has been a very long ordeal choosing, ordering, receiving and putting together all of the items for my daughters nursery...however, this crib has made it all worth while! It is gorgious in her room, a definate center piece. It went together flawlessly, and quickly...took about an hour. She's pleased as punch to have her new "huge" bed to sleep in after a couple of months in a bassinette.

My sister got this same crib a few months before I bought mine and hers came in perfect condition. When I opened and put it together a couple days ago it was full of scratches and dents! I am going to contact walmart to see what they have to say because it was not damaged through shipping the box was in perfect condition. The crib is truely beautiful and sturdy, with lots of storage under.

Dont buy it! I bought it the first week in January and I received the recall notice the 2nd week in January. Storkcraft has been less than helpful in sending the replacement parts. They have very poor customer service. I have tried to contact them via phone, but the customer service line is always busy. The brackets that allow the front rail to slide up and down are poorly designed. Over all, skip it!!! I cant even use this $300+ bed until the new parts are delivered.

I had purchased this for my soon to be born grand-daughter and though the crib looks very nice in the nursery I had expected it to be a little bit of a better quality wood than it actually was. The crib was easy to assemble. The price for the exact same crib at other retailers was anywhere from $50-$100 more than we were able to purchase it for from Walmart.com. Along with the $.97 shipping it was hard to beat the price.
