The Augason Farms Water Treatment and Storage kit includes everything you need to store and treat 55-gallons of water. The treatment drops kill odor-causing bacteria, enhance the taste of stored potable water, and control the buildup of slime in the water barrel. The siphon hose and hand pump make accessing your water easier than ever. We’ve also included a must-have barrel lid opener. Don’t leave your water security to chance. As a general rule of thumb, it is recommended that you are prepared with a minimum of one gallon of water per person per day. TIP: When storing water barrels, it is recommended that barrels are not stored directly on cement or in constant sunlight, nor that water be allowed to freeze. It is also recommended that barrels be stored no more than two barrels high for safety purposes.
