Aveeno Skin Relief Oat Body Wash with Chamomile Scent, 18 fl. oz

I regularly use Aveeno Skin Relief unscented for sensitive and dry skin. This one works even better than that one despite it being lightly scented. It works great. I fine that I'll be using this one from now on in place of the unscented body wash. Highly recommend for all those looking for a great body wash for sensitive, dry skin.

I'm very sensitive to fragrances and have sensitive skin that tends to dry. There are very few soaps I can use without my feeling dry and ragged, especially fragranced products. But this really is a gentle fragrance, not at all chemical smelling. And it is gentle on skin without dryness. It's described as soothing and it is. It has a smooth and emollient feel. A very nice product that I will keep using.

I have been using this since it arrived. I do not have allergies to smells and my skin does not itch. I normally use Olay Ultra Moisture Shea Body Wash. I do have dry flaky skin though and this seems to help some if you use it every day. It is more like a clear gel than a cream coming out of the bottle. At first I could not get it to suds that much, but after applying more, all was well. I do not have this problem with Olay. I will continue using until the bottle is empty and maybe long term usage might help more. If not, then I will be going back to Olay. I do wish Aveeno had more of a scent to it, but then that is my preference.

Because I live in a high, dry climate, I'm always looking for products to keep my skin moisturized. This is especially true during the winter when running the furnace only makes air even more dry. I tried Aveeno Active Naturals Skin Relief Gentle Scent Body Wash and found it to be superior to other products I have used in the past. It contains oat and chamomile, and it does have a soft - not at all overwhelming - fragrance. It is a creamy gel and a little of it goes a long way which is a difference from other products I have tried. The body wash is also recommended by dermatologists, soap-free, dye-free and allergy tested: it had everything (and then some) in what I was looking for. One of the feature I like the best is the fact that it leaves my skin feeling clean without any "sticky" or "slick" feeling that so many other body washes seem to impart. Although I was familiar with the name Aveeno, I had never tried their products until now. At this point, I am 100% "sold". I will continue to use it, have already recommended it to friends and would recommend it to anybody booking for a superb body wash at a reasonable price.

This review is a consensus of our experiences with this product over that period. This is the first time that either of us has tried any body wash. This Aveeno product is creamy with almost no scent. It leaves our skin feeling smoother and less dry than it would have been if we used soap. We both have concluded that our skin seems to be a little softer and we feel a little less skin itchiness even though we have had only four days of usage. I would expect that a more reasonable test period would have been three or four weeks. Neither of us has experienced any skin irritation or other negative effects as a result of using this product. The results thus far encourage us enough to continue using the product. If our experience over the past four days continues we will purchase more of this product when this bottle's content is used up.
