Avent Infant Starter Set

I would like to say that these are still my favorite bottle... with my older two we had these for the occasional bottle of pumped milk and never had a problem. With my third baby we got new ones because of the concern of bpa in the old ones. We have had leaking issues with nearly every bottle. We've stuck with the old playtex dropins and are much happier that half of the milk I pump isn't left in the fridge or diaper bag as it was with these new avents. I really really wanted these to work but it's not worth the wasted milk!!

I used these bottles for six months until my son moved to a sippy cup. I never wanted to try any other brands. I never had any leaking problems. They are BPA free and they are most similar to a human breast. I had no problems switching from the breast to bottled breast milk after a week, which was a huge break for a first time mom that was breastfeeding. I am not sure why so many people had leaking problems. Myself and many family members swear by them.

I am from Europe so when I gave birth I wanted to be loyal to european products and I got Avent bottles. You cannot imagine how big of a disappointment it was when I started using this product. It leaks all the time!!! If you go somewhere and you keep this bottles in changing bag make sure they stay in vertical position other wise before you will get to your destination you will lose everything what you had in the bottle. If you don't want to lose you energy, money and milk- DO NOT GET IT!!!

My husband and I purchased this kit before our daughter was born. After a ton of reading and research. Our daughter is breastfed. And bottle fed with breast milk. When we burp her we always get the same size burp. I am confident she is not getting a ton of air when drinking from this bottle. We also appreciate the great inventors at Philips for making this design with as little parts to assemble as possible. We did read that people had leaking problems. I have not experienced any leaks. I also read this is due to over tightening. We would recommend this system to anyone that wants a quality product for a great price.

this bottle is wonderful, unless you can't follow directions, or want something that is so easy a simpleton would be able to do it with eyes closed. So if you are willing to read instructions, or are able to do regular day-to-day things; you should have no trouble with this bottle. It is terrific! Easy to use, holds more than a regular 4oz but less than an 8oz. So you can use it longer as well.
