Avery Printable Hanging File Folder Tabs, 1/5 Cut, 90 Total (5567)

I had purchased this product a few years back and loved it. I ran out and got some more. Totally different experience. The paper the file tabs are on is A LOT thinner which makes the labels difficult to get off and they don't last as long as the previous ones. AND--I am not normally a review writer!

Disappointed I purchased these and was sure they would make my life easier; however, the template for them is awful. There is no way, other than trial and error to see how the information you want on the tab will look once printed. I would suggest the template actually have the lines similar to the tabs so you are very sure what the tab will look like after printing.

These tabs have made my file drawers neat and stream-lined. I can read them more easily which makes finding the right file quicker. They are sturdy and can be moved easily. I keep working files for 2 concurrent years and move and create files quite frequently. I am still using the first set of tabs I created almost 7 years ago! Another great feature is that I can see the file name from either direction which works great for my lateral file cabinets and also my desktop spinning file box.

I do not like handwritten labels as they look unprofessional. If you use the plastic file tabs with the inserts, that is basically the only choice you have. The hanging file folder labels offer you another option - a label that you can type on and print off on the computer. They are great and so easy to use. At the start of a new year, I can update the labels for all my files in a matter of minutes. If I only need one label, that is doable as well. Wonderful product. Kudos to the person who invented these.
