Baby Mod - Lily 4-in-1 Crib Cherry

I love this crib! I read the reviews and had a very good feeling about it and I was right! It was more simple to put together then I thought it would be! The color of it is beautiful, and it's very sturdy! I also love that it came with the toddler rail! I can't wait to put my son in it :)

My other cribs were recalled so I went on the search to find replacements. My goal was honey oak, trundle drawer and SAFE!! Two of my wants were met. I do wish the crib would have come with a drawer and that the wood would not scratch and ding so easily. We are extremely happy with the crib!! It is beautiful and it matches the other pieces of furniture in the nursery.

Other than being confused about what company makes this crib, it is excellent. This "Baby Mod Lily" is actually a "DaVinci Emily" and they are all made by Million Dollar Baby. This crib is sold for much more elsewhere, so I am glad I found the deal at Walmart! It was fairly easy to put together (we did have to partially take it apart to get it through the doorway, oops). It has a sturdy construction and looks great!

I bought this crib off of Walmart.com without actually seeing it (I wish the store carried more items instead of having to buy over the internet). We received it in a timely fashion, however, was disappointed when my husband assembled it to learn it was way too short. My 14 month old daughter has a Storkcraft crib with an adjustable side rail and we were steering away from those with the recent recall which prompted us to purchase this one for our unborn son. It's nice looking, and affordable. Everything was fine with the crib, it was in excellent condition even being shipped, it came within a weeks time, but it is simply too short! I am 5'4" and standing by it I was much taller than it. Once the baby gets big enough to stand in the crib they'll be almost to the floor! To some it may not matter, or it may be that I am used to my daughter's higher crib, but we will be returning it once the new one comes in. We just ordered the Storkcraft Heather 4-1 crib that is almost identical to my daughter's, plus it is a standard that all cribs come with a fixed drop down rail. It is $25 more than this one, but worth it to me! Good looking crib, just too short for my taste!

I have never bought anything from Walmart before. My first crib was from a boutique kids store and is not convertible. I could not spend on the 2nd one what I did on the 1st one and wanted a specific color. Based on other reviews I took a chance on this one and was pleasantly surprised. It looks really, really nice. It was easy to put together but my husband said it had no directions and therefor flipped a few pieces so some of the hardware is on the outside. I was impressed to realize later that it didn't have to be if you did it right. It's nice and deep on the lowest setting and for a 14 month old who stands up this is great. It seems like it would be hard to climb out of as well, so that is good. It feels pretty sturdy, similar to the more expensive one we have. I am pleased with the purchase.
