With everyone cooped up at home getting out has become so important so we go to the park every other day and this has been great. Baby has a nice protected area and I have everything all organized. She was too big yet for the use of the bassinet like piece that goes towards the top of the play yard but it is easy to assemble and disassemble this piece. The storage on the side is simple yet useful. The colors are neutral. This product is simple to put away and doesn't take up too much room either way.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using this playard with my daughter and let me tell ya it is handy! Its easy to set up, with just a few pulls and clicks. We live by the lake and go often, now we just grab this and we are good to go. The canopy is great for shading. The side pockets hold everything we need and the wheels make it easy peasy to maneuver, yet they safely lock into place. The mesh is great for getting a breeze. When we are done we just click, pull and wrap it up, a must have if you have a little!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had the opportunity to utilize the Baby Trend Mini Nursery Center Playard in my own home with my newly-one-year-old daughter. As a mom to two young children, I am always looking for a compact, portable and safe play space to place baby for play while I clean, prepare meals, etc. The initial set-up for me actually required me to utilize the directions, as I found the order of necessary steps to go against my instincts. This unit, while simple to assemble when you know the correct order of steps, requires you to snap the upper perimeter support frames into position prior to pushing the center/base of the playard down (my instincts initially told me to push the base down first for form and then to erect the side poles-- but it will NOT work this way). Take-down mimics these steps in opposite order-- again a bit of a design learning curve, which is why I gave this product 4-stars. I do like how all of the components go back together easily, and that the support mat is utilized to secure the folded frame with velcro straps. Once I had the knowledge of correct assembly, the Mini Nursery Center Playard was much less intimidating. Baby Trend doesn't fall short of comfort, functionality or quality with this product, as the material is really well-made and easily cleanable and the mattress pad soft. I love the compactness of this playard, as it makes for a perfect bedroom sleeper for new parents, a terrific living room playard and makes for a convenient place for baby to hang out in while out at the park or on-the-go! I find that my one-year-old can lay or remain seated upright comfortably, with plenty of room to spare for exploration and play. Height-wise, I am pleased that my one-year-old is securely housed and unable to climb the mesh walls or push the unit over. The Baby Trend Mini Nursery Center Playard is unique in that it comes with a removable mini bassinet, super easy to assembly with two pole connectors, for newborn rest/sleep. Although my child is too big for this portion, we have nieces and nephews who enjoy using the playard to rest when visiting or when we are on a family outing. Another feature of the playard that is simple, but functional, is the removable canopy with two hanging stuffed toys. For some reason, my one-year-old loves to look at and play with these adorable accessories! I have now utilized the Mini Nursery Center Playard both in home and outside, and couldn't be more pleased with the sturdiness of this compact playard. I love having a space to keep baby happy and safe in while in view, so that I am able to cook, clean, etc.. If you are looking for a well-made, portable product that will keep baby entertained and safe while in the home or out, Baby Trend Mini Nursery Center Playard is a terrific solution.
