Baby Trend Xcel-R8 Jogging Stroller, Raspberry

I purchased this jogger after renting one while on a beach vacation. During our rental use, we would go on 2+ mile jogs on pavement with the stroller and the front wheel would randomly sputter. There was one time where the front wheel sputter and I actually fell over the stroller. Checked it out and locked the wheel moving forward and had no issues. Because it was a rental I thought it was an isolated incident. I loved how smooth the stroller pushed, the material it was made of, the light weight, and how easy it was to maneuver with the front wheel unlocked. I purchased one after returning from vacation. After one month of using the stroller, the front wheel (when unlocked) began doing the same thing. It sputters when you are jogging. I pulled up reviews and realized this seems to occur often. This is by NO MEANS A JOGGING STROLLER. In fact, it is dangerous to jog with it while the wheel is unlocked. The ease of maneuver with the wheel unlocked makes it easy to jog with and more light weight. The minute you lock the wheel it looses those features. Regardless until they fix the wheel issue, do not buy it.

I love the color of this stroller. It was exactly as shown in the picture. It was easy to assemble. It took about ten minutes for me to assemble. You will need to either take the stroller to a tire shop to get the wheels pump or use a hand pump. We took our baby on a lot of walks, during the spring on the streets and it was easy to maneuver. I was a bit skeptical about taking it on runs or jogging but we went ahead and took it out on our runs and it was spectacular! The ride was smooth sailing and I can see my baby enjoyed the ride. I also got a lot of compliments from my neighbors about how stylish it look and I do not regret purchasing this item and would recommend it to all new moms looking for a stylish and inexpensive stroller that get the task done!

Just received this on Saturday and not even two days later all three inner tubes on the tires blew baby trend was very understanding are are sending me new one but still upsetting especially for the price I paid for the stroller but other then that overall I love these strollers this is my second one!!

Wanted a jogger stroller to take my granddaughter for walks. We live in area where there are many hills and even some dirt trails. After reading all the many great reviews I decided to give it this one a try. It didn't disappoint! The wheels were very nice (wheels do require air) the color was beautiful and it almost comes completely assembled. The ride is extremely smooth and folding it down is super easy to. I love that it's easy to handle and easy to maneuver! This Stroller is a great buy for the money!

I liked the sleek look the most before buying. Once I put the stroller together, and it was really easy to put together, I love all the features. There is an undercarriage for storing diaper bags or snacks or a purse or something. There is a foot rest which is an excellent feature, as well as the tray with cup holders so we can carry drinks and toys. There is a visor that can be pulled back or pushed out to cover. I love being able to look down at baby without having the visor in the way. It's a great feature in my opinion. The wheels work wonderfully and have a great swivel effect. I have had this for a week now, and we have taken it out every day, and I haven't had any problems with it. I would definitely recommend this jogging stroller to anyone interested in getting a new one.
