Back to Basics Egg & Muffin 2 Slice Toaster, TEM500

I received 1 as a gift and it broke so I bought 1 and both stopped working after about a year and I didn't even use it that much. The egg cooker stops working. Tired of throwing away good money after bad and I refuse to buy another! It should have been recalled! Good idea; bad product.

I bought 2 of these, one for me and one for my father. I was excited at the possibility of quick and varied breakfast choices. However, after a VERY short time, perheps a few months, mine stopped working. Since my father hada not been using his, I threw ine out and took his, assuming I had simply gotten a defective one. However, after about one month, this one also stopped working. I am now looking for another toaster, and hopefully, this one will work for more tha a few months.

What a wonderful appliance. Cook your toast and eggs at the same time on the same appliance and all items will be ready at the same time. While I am getting ready for the work in the mornings, I can cook a wonderful fresh breakfast sandwich without dirtying up a lot of dishes. Toast stay will stay warm while the eggs cook. What a great product. I highly recommend it to everyone on the planet. Woo! Hoo!

I did not like this product. The process starts when you push down the toaster handle. By the time your egg & meat are done your toast/muffin are ice cold. It should pop your bread right away and it doesn't, it holds it down untill everything is done. The only thing it's good for is just the toaster. I do not reccomend.

My moms neighbor had one of these toasters and she loved it...but it quit working after about 3 months. I got mine before hers quit working...and thought that hers just must of been a lemon. But after about 4 months mine did the same thing. 1st the egg part quit and I used it as a toaster...and then a month later the whole thing became a Dud!
