Backpacker's Pantry Risotto with Chicken

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm a big fan of Backpacker's pantry in general and this flavor is one of my favorites. These dehydrated meals are super easy to make. Just add water and wait a few minutes. We love taking these on camping trips which is so convenient and easy and we know we're still getting a healthy meal to fuel our long days at the river. The risotto is perfectly cooked and the chicken is moist and delicious. We will definitely continue purchasing this brand in the future.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just takes 2 cups of boiling water and 15 minutes, and you'll have a small, satisfying meal. The consistency was like a thick soup. The ingredients although freeze dried tasted fresh- even the chicken. One package produces 2 servings, though these servings are a tad small and carb heavy. My wife thought it was too salty, but we both thought it tasted good. Due to a shaker portion size I would recommend supplementing with other food if you're going to be active.

I buy MRE because of their storage life and for camping since they are easy to make. This made for a gourmet meal when out camping! Even my kids enjoyed it. A definite must have to keep or to use for when out camping or backpacking. It was easy to cook and the Risotto tasted amazing! Definitely gave a gourmet feel to our camping dining experience. Would highly recommend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I brought this last month . I have been trying to find a good tasting long shelf life food on the market . This one hit it out of the ballpark . Shelf life is 10 years I believe . And with the crazy world we are in now can't hurt to have some put away . Alls it takes is boiling water . So many reasons why you might use it . It was seasoned good and tasted awsome . Def will purchase more .
