BackTrack 36-0050 Portable Navigator

Took several hikes to new areas. Always returned me back to line of sight of my vehicle.

This a very simple and easy to use gps. Small enough to put in your pocket or bag. Great for locating you car in large parking lots. Also good when hunting in small woods, or fishing on lakes. Does not have all the bells and whistles like the larger gps devices. You do not need them for the uses I described.

Used my Backtrack to help "cut" out horse trails. Worked like a charm. I also have a Garmin H I used, but the Backtrack was valuable in telling me with the arrow exactly which direction and how far to go.

I bought the Backtrack because I wanted a simple GPS to direct me back to a point with minimal input. The Bushnell Backtrack meets my needs very well. I own another GPS but find it overly complicated for most of my needs such as finding my way back to my car or camp. For that purpose it is ideal. For my use simple is better.

While this product is not the most accurate available, for the price and size it will get you back to your starting point (although it may include a few short detours along the way). It can be worn around your neck and hidden in your shirt until you are ready to use it. Then mearly turn it back on and it will take you back to your pre set starting point. What could be simpler than that.
