Bactimicina Kids Pain Reliever and Fever Reducer contains acetaminophen, a non-aspirin ingredient; it contains no alcohol. Bactimicina reduces fever and relieves minor aches and pains due to cold, flu, headache, sore throat, immunizations, and toothache. Cherry-flavored Bactimicina is intended for use only by children ages two through eleven; it is not recommended for adult use. The syrup comes with an enclosed dosage cup; recommended dosages on the product labeling are based on the dosage cup. The maximum dosage is five doses within a twenty-four hour period. Bactimicina Kids Pain Reliever and Fever Reducer should not be used by children who are allergic to acetaminophen or who are taking any other product containing acetaminophen. If a child is taking the blood thinner Warfarin, he or she should not use this product except as directed by a physician. If pain gets worse or lasts longer than five days or if fever gets worse or lasts longer than three days, stop the use of the product as these could be symptoms of a more serious condition.
