Band-Aid Brand Hydro Seal All Purpose Adhesive Bandages, 3 Count

My husband is constantly banging his fingers and scraping his arms. Since he is a diesel mechanic this is almost a normal daily thing for him. We put one on the end of his finger after we cleaned it up and it almost looked like a second skin!. You can't see it unless you are looking for it! That in itself is pretty cool. With the this type of seal it really does protect the wound from getting more grease, grime, fluids (that he works with) from getting inside. He really likes these more than the standard fabric bandage that we've been using for years.

Although this band aid is smaller than I expected, it was enough to fully cover the puncture wound I had. It was very different than the type with a small pad like I am used to, but it worked great. It did not stick to the scab, but stayed on until the 4th day. I instinctively wanted to change it but followed the directions and it did a good job. No latex means no skin reactions to the product. There are only three to a package but I liked that it was very close to my skin tone and didn't stand out so I'll keep them for visible wounds. If there had been more in the package I would have given it a full 5 stars.

I'm really impressed with the new Band-Aid brand Hydro Seal Adhesive. I stays on and is water resistant. (Used while swimming) It also helps you heal quickly without having to use any kind of ointments. This to me is a must have in your first aid kits. I would recommend these to everyone.

These bandages are amazing! The first one I used, I could see that it was different in looks and in the feel of the material. They have a rubber feel, so of course being sensitive to latex, I checked immediately to see if there was any latex in the product. They are latex free so I applied it to my skin and noticed that it felt comfortable, stretched easily and I did not feel it on my skin. I didn't have a sore at the time but wanted to see how well it would hold up on my index finger. Due to the resent flu virus going around, I have been washing my hands often and the regular bandages I've used in the past, just don't hold up for more than three hand washings. I was amazed that this Hydro Seal bandage stayed on all day long, through my shower the next morning and through the day. The sides were wearing a bit, but were still smooth and not ragged and scratchy like other bandages. The bandage flaps, where they overlap, did not start peeling back and the bandage stayed in place with no problems. I decided to remove it and it was really sealed where the overlap comes together. I used the other two for actual wounds. The first had wonderful results. My sore healed nicely and there was no scab to tend with. Taking the bandage off after several days, I expected to have a build up of adhesive on my skin, but there was no sticky adhesive left behind! They are more expensive than other bandages, but considering I only used one band-Aid hydro Seal when I would have used several ordinary bandages, it all evens out. The photo is my husbands finger and shows the white bubble that formed. I love these bandages and they will definitely be on my shopping list.

I used the Band-Aid on my finger. After washing dishes in the sink and the next day taking a shower the Band-Aid is still firmly attached. It is small and would do well covering a small cut or blister. It is too small for a larger cut. It is comfortable and the color and texture blend right in with my skin color.
