Honestly utterly disappointed. Feels like you are not bothered anymore to offer fair women any options of this foundation. Theres only two properly light colors Fairly light which is pink and golden fair with yellow undertones which were my perfect match. Of course you manage to discontinue this color and now not matter how much I love this foundation( Its was the onliest Im using) now I have to switch to another brand because all other colors you offering are just dark

The finish of this gorgeous but I chose the wrong shade. I'm really pale but like to warm my skin up slightly, not so I'm orange I just don't like looking ashy. I bought golden fair thinking there would be warm tones but the shades look darker online than they actually apply. There is no warm tones in golden fair it's very white! I doubt I will be able to return for hygeine reasons either so I'll use it as a highlighter or maybe as a touch up during the day. I'd usually go the store directly but I'm trying to avoid shopping at the moment due the current situation, I'd just recommend people are more careful picking a shade.

Why do you still have Golden Deep on your website saying you have run out when I have been told by staff on the phone that you have discontinued it? It would save a lot of leg work if you could keep your site up to date and inform staff in your boutiques when you discontinue a shade. Also, it would give your customers time to find a new shade before they run out. Lastly, telling the customer to just wear the next lightest or darkest shade either side is not helpful. People with darker skin have just as many undertones as anyone else.

This foundation has been around for years, so naturally it has gained equally as many lovers as haters - everyone has to remember that just because a product works for one person, does not mean it will work for everyone! So please bare this in mind. I don't normally review products for the reason above, but I feel as though if I were ever to recommend a product it would be this one. I have suffered with cystic acne since I was 12 (I am now nearly 24). I have been to a dermatologist, been treated with Accutane (isotretinoin), and have the most regimented skincare known to man - and ya'll know if I've been lazy and used a makeup wipe one evening. I am extremely fair, to the point where Kat Von Ds tattoo lock-it foundation is probably the closest match I can find. I don't suffer like I did when I was younger, but I normally have a blemish or two on my face, and the occasional cyst will rear its ugly head. However, those who have suffered with acne will know that even once the breakouts have been cured, your skin is never the same. I have the typical hormonal redness around the T-Zone, with poor texture, surface and keloid scarring. Now this foundation does not work MIRACLES. I have to use a primer otherwise this will emphasise my pores. And it is not full coverage - however, if you BUFF this into the skin it does cover redness, and improves your skin to make it look more radiant. In other words, 'a more beautiful you'. I've used this since I was 16 and always come back to it - as a secondary school teacher and for day-to-day wear this foundation is perfect. It evens out my skin tone but looks natural. And people need to remember that natural-looking coverage will allow some imperfections through. You will see freckles however I think freckles are beautiful so why cover up your natural beauty - be proud! It improves scarring, and it doesn't irritate my skin - however I don't have sensitive skin (a regular user of retinol and azealic acid does that). I love full coverage on nights out so will usually use this on top of another foundation! You have to remember it is only powder, therefore can only do so much. Continued use will allow an improvement in your skin normally as it uses natural products so is normally better for your skin - but again, this may not be the same for everyone. I use the shade golden fair as I'm one of these rare species that has porcelain skin with warm, yellow undertones. It is slightly darker BUT blends well and isn't noticeable so don't let that put you off - pale girls should check whether they'd be fair or golden fair! A good liquid concealer is ideal under this for those who like to conceal there imperfections and wear light weight foundation. Those who like to wear another layer of skin (I do like that look on a night out or special occasion) may not like this. Hope this helps. I would recommend this! It makes me feel comfortable and confident with the way I look naturally and not as if I'm wearing a mask!

I have sensitive, combination skin with mild rosacea and I've tried all sorts of liquid foundations which never worked. This doesn't irritate my skin, works wonders at hiding the redness and lasts ages (unlike classic liquid make up I had to reapply mid day). I use it with the Multi Tasking Concealer and my skin has never looked so good. Thank you Bare Minerals!!
