Have had extremely oily skin for years and can not find a good coverage fluid foundation that doesn't separate on my face throughout the day...this foundation is a godsend! I apply using the swirl, tap and buff method using the kabuki brush or perfect finish brush and it stays on forever! I top up setting powder once at around 4pm when I'm shiny and I'm good to go again. Must have for oily skin!

I've been a fan of the Original loose mineral foundation for years but however well it is applied, it is quickly spoiled by my very oily skin. I had high hopes of this Matte version but it's very disappointing. I find it difficult to apply as it seems more inclined to stick to the brush than my face. When I eventually get some of it in place, the coverage is so light that I need to use 3 times as much just to achieve a 'natural' look that covers thread veins and minor blemishes but even then, it doesn't conceal pores at all and actually cakes on oily areas like a cheap high street formula might.

Got this foundation last week and now I couldn't live without it! I have oily skin and used the READY foundation (which now I realised was a bit cakey) so searched for a new foundation since it got discontinued. I tried liquid foundations from bare minerals, YSL and Estée Lauder all of which made my skin shiney and was off by the end of the day. I'm so glad I found this foundation, put it on in the morning and my face is still oil and shine free by the time I get home at night. I use the kabuki brush and buff it on and it gives me full coverage. Best foundation I've ever used, completely recommend!

Best foundation I have found so far really helps my oily ness on my face and great coverage can build to how much you want I got this shade in fair as really pale skin with red tones covers my redness and makes an even coverage doesn't look cakey sets perfectly easy applying doesn't feel rough on your skin best with a primer if you have dry skin otherwise great defiantly recommend for oily/breakout skin

I like this foundation. I have oily, blemish-prone skin and find that liquid and cream foundations crease and slide off, and I don't really like the idea of slathering a cream over any blemishes as they often make them worse. I tried the bareMinerals original foundation and it also didn't sit well on my skin, but the matte is great. It can crease a little in fine lines, but overall it sits well, provides good coverage and stays on all day. It keeps my skin less oily looking for about an hour after application (better than most foundations!) then a mattifying powder goes on well over the top throughout the day. The minerals don't feel like they're clogging my pores or making blemishes worse. I'm happy with this foundation and won't be looking to change anytime soon!
